Payment Methods

We accept payments via PayPal (Micah.Duncan@duncantutoring.com ; Genevieve.Akins@duncantutoring.com).

Invoices will be sent on the 1st of each month and will list the previous month’s charges.

Payment is due by the 7th of each month. If payment has not been received by the 14th of the month, subsequent sessions will be canceled until payment is received.

Remote Sessions

Sessions are conducted remotely and through Zoom. After receiving the intake materials and

setting up a tutoring schedule, your tutor will provide initial meeting instructions and support.

Late Cancellations

Sessions cancelled within 48 hours of 8am CST the day of the session will incur a late cancellation fee equal to 40% of the cancelled session price. Sessions cancelled after 8am CST the day of the session will incur a late cancellation fee equal to 70% of the cancelled session price.

No-Shows

Sessions which a student does not attend with no notice of cancellation prior to the session start time will be charged the full session price.

Session Duration

Sessions are purchased in half-hour increments, and the shortest appointment duration is 30 minutes. Families are responsible for the amount of time they book and will be charged based on that amount. Students who provide no advance notice of a need to begin their meeting late or end their meeting early will still be responsible for the full session price. If a student is late to their appointment, we will work to the end of their scheduled time, but no later.

Pricing

After receiving intake materials, the tutor will provide an initial quote. This quoted session cost is subject to change if, after three sessions the services rendered are different than those determined from the initial intake materials or the client and tutor determine that the student’s needs have changed and thus services are altered.
